Are you tasked with addressing a team member's performance but are hesitant to set up the meeting?  Do you avoid engaging with certain coworkers knowing the conversation could go south? A recent poll conducted by VitalSmarts, shows that more than 80% of people are scared to have tough conversations with a coworker.  Though many HR professionals' job responsibilities require having tough conversations daily, that does not mean that they are always comfortable having them.  In this interactive presentation, Kelly Dunkle will explain the importance of these conversations and how to make them more comfortable and effective.

Kelly Dunkle, PHR, SHRM-CP, is the Executive Office Manager at the Cottleville Fire Protection District focusing on all aspects of HR.  Prior to this role, she worked for twelve years at a large manufacturer spending time in many areas of HR, including Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Trainnig, and Leadership Development.
