This presentation will describe the Opioid Crisis that Missouri is facing, what factors contributed to the crisis, and how the crisis impacts the workforce in Missouri. The presentation will present basic information about why a person develops a substance abuse disorder and teh best approaches to treat the disorder. It will also discuss what the State of Missouri is doing to fight the crisis and how each individual and employer can be a part of the solution.
